After much anticipation, Performance Design Products has finally announced the release of Afterglow’s newest wired controller for Xbox One that features Prismatic Lighting, a feature that allows users to change the color of the controller. Officially licensed by Microsoft with built-in ALPS analog sticks and PDP’s SmartTrack technology, the Afterglow Prismatic Wired Controller for Xbox One provides excellent performance while staying at a pretty moderate price.

Thanks to the Prismatic LED lighting like we mentioned earlier, gamers can set their favorite color, cycle through the rainbow, or turn off the lights completely. From there, the clear polycarbonate housing shows the controller’s inner circuitry and wiring. Dual Multi-Function wheels on the back of the controller can be customized to do 6 different actions, giving more flexibility for players. Lastly, a 3.5mm headset jack is included to support game audio and on-board controls give an easy way to adjust audio levels.

Based on what we were told, the Afterglow Prismatic Wired Controller for Xbox One will retail for $49.99 and will be available for pre-order from major retailers. As for the official release date, we aren’t sure on that but will keep you updated.

Performance Designed Products, designers of accessories for various gaming consoles, has announced the release of Afterglow AG 7, giving consumers the first ever chance to get a fully wireless Xbox One headset for under $100. Better yet, the headset is officially licensed by Microsoft and will be compatible with the Xbox One and most mobile devices.

The Afterglow AG 7 sports two different audio modes, 50mm Neodymium drivers, as well as game and chat audio controls. Additionally, the noise-canceling, flexible microphone offers gamers a better experience when talking to other players to eliminate any unnecessary background noise. By the looks of it, the headset also boasts 16 hours of battery life and a potential wireless range of 100 feet.

We’ve also been given word that the Afterglow AG 7 will be available to demo at E3 next moth from June 16th to 18th. While we won’t be at E3, we highly suggest you stop by PDP‘s booth and give it a look for yourself. Even though the Afterglow AG 7 headset is not available to purchase right now, it will retail for $99.99 and is available for pre-order at Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, and on Amazon.

Last but certainly not least, we should be getting a demo unit here in the coming weeks, so you can expect to see a full review once that time comes.

While we normally don’t cover gaming console-related news, this piece of information we were sent couldn’t be rejected. The same Fruit Ninja game that we all know and love is set to move onto the next generation with the release of Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 for the Xbox One. Developed by Hibernum Creations out of Montreal, Canada, Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 will launch for Xbox One on March 18th, 2015. The game will feature five new game modes, four-person multiplayer, a new progression system, and an expanded lineup of characters as well.

Each game mode takes place at the Blueberry Moon festival, and is presented by one of the new Fruit Ninja team members — Katsuro, Mari, Han and Nobu. Players must dodge shurikens, slice through a forest of bamboo, and avoid spotlights to become the true masters of the game. The brand new multiplayer modes allow up to four players to compete, while a new progression system allows players to earn blades, dojos and belts as challenges are completed.

For those interested, Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 will sell for $15 USD on the Xbox Games Store. As of now though this is all the information available, however, we’ll keep you updated if anything new comes our way.
