AMD and Square Enix Launch “AMD4U”
Two of the best known names in gaming, AMD and Square Enix, have recently teamed up to launch a brand new program named AMD4U that will provide AMD consumers with a range of games from independent developers all across the globe. Through this partnership AMD’s program will directly work with the indie publishing side of Square Enix, Square Enix Collective, and promote awareness of AMD’s new product lineup.
AMD4U has been designed to provide both technology and hardware support for indie developers that publish games through Square Enix Collective. In addition this program will also help raise awareness and market games to consumers.
Thanks to AMD4U anyone who purchases an AMD-powered computer from a variety of OEM’s will have the option to verify their hardware and receive up to three free games from Square Enix Collective. Games that consumers can choose from include Black the Fall, Children of Zodiarc, Deadbeat Heroes, Tokyo Dark, Oh My Godheads, along with upcoming titles Fear Effect Sedna and Battalion 1944.
Overall it’s nice to see these two companies come together to offer some type of platform for indie developers to get the proper exposure and support for their games. For more detailed information and specifics we suggest checking out the official AMD4U website.
