Earlier back in the month, Gameloft released a teaser image of their upcoming FPS game, N.O.V.A. Elite, however, they didn’t release any info at the time, leaving a lot of open speculation. Most of the speculation leaned towards N.O.V.A. Elite being multiplayer only and not having any single player, which may be hold true judging by the trailer below. In the trailer, all we see is multiplayer action and no single player campaign which logically leads us to believe it will be multiplayer only. The possibility of a single player campaign is still open, because Gameloft may just be focusing on the multiplayer-only part.

Putting aside the speculation, N.O.V.A. Elite is apparently “coming soon” and of course, PocketFullOfApps will keep you updated as time progresses.

Brace yourself folks for some new and exciting Gameloft news, because this news is super big. As all of you know of Gameloft‘s hit Sci-Fi FPS, N.O.V.A., however, it’s been some time since we’ve last gotten an update on anything. But that is no more. When Gameloft reached 300,000 fans on their FaceBook page, they released a teaser image (that is above) for the next addition to the N.O.V.A. series —  N.O.V.A.: Elite. What does this exactly mean? Well, a number of different things, however, the biggest is thing is the fact that N.O.V.A.: Elite may just be one of Gameloft‘s Unreal Engine 3 games due to the fact they signed a contract with Epic Games earlier this year that allows themselves to use the Unreal Engine 3 in two of their games this year and finally two sometime next year. Seen this is one of Gameloft‘s bigger iOS franchises/series, it is highly likely that this will utilize the Unreal Engine 3. The previous two games in the N.O.V.A. series have been a huge hit and received great impressions from iOS users all across the board, so it will be interesting to see how this game turns out.
