Vivid Games Updates ‘Real Boxing’ with iOS 7 Controller Support and New “PunchTown” Pack
Independent developer Vivid Games have announced the latest update to their hit title Real Boxing on iOS. The new version features support for iOS 7 controllers as well as downloadable content. Vivid Games‘ collaboration with MMA and boxing clothing brand PunchTown allows players to get a “PunchTown Pack” of downloadable content like boots, gloves, shorts and tattoos to change their fighter’s appearance and performance. Real Boxing‘s new iOS 7 controller support allows players to fight in multiple tournaments and real-world venues using analogue controls instead of using the traditional touchscreen. To celebrate the launch in time for Christmas, there’s now snow effects and ring girls in Santa costumes for a limited time. Here’s the full list of what’s new in this update:
- New DLC Punchtown Pack. Players can purchase unique and edgy items to boost their boxer’s performance.
- Compatibility with iOS7 game controllers.
- Enhanced multiplayer – find more opponents in seconds.
- Special festive theme for the Christmas period.
- More national flags to choose from.
Last but certainly not least, Real Boxing is on sale for a limited time of only $0.99 which is very good considering how high quality the game is. For those that already own Real Boxing, the PunchTown pack will set you back $3.99.
