SteelSeries and PUBG Announces Exclusive Partnership
SteelSeries, makers of various PC gaming peripherals, have announced an official partnership with battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Thanks to this partnership SteelSeries has released a PUBG QcK+ mousepad with additional PUBG-themed peripherals and accessories to come later this summer.
“SteelSeries was the peripherals brand we considered partnering with, because of the tremendous reputation the brand has built over the last two decades,” said Shane Rho, Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA of PUBG Corporation. “This partnership provides our community with the ability to show off their PUBG pride while using the best peripherals in the industry.”
The PUBG QcK+ mousepad is the first of many more poducts to come from SteelSeries and PUBG, and is available for $19.99. The mousepad features the lead PUBG character as well as a nearly frictionless surface and non-slip rubber base. The mousepad is a bit larger than one would expect, coming in at 450 x 400 x 4mm in size.
If I were to guess, additional PUBG-branded products from SteelSeries would probably include a headset, mouse, and perhaps a keyboard. That being said though it’s not known for sure what other products will come until this summer, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
