TWO iPod Touch Prototypes Show Up On eBay
What a month, first with the lost and found iPhone 4G prototype (Apple says it was “stolen” however) and now 2 iPod Touch prototypes show up on eBay. That’s right, TWO iPod Touch prototypes showed up on eBay. Apparently, they only showed up on eBay for a couple of minutes before being taken down. But who took them down? The owner? eBay? Apple? That is not known, however. Now, the iPod Touches that showed up on eBay for a short time, had a camera, however, the iPod Touch 3rd generation had pictures leaked of it having a camera just before its announcement. When it was announced, there was no camera in the 3rd generation iPod Touch. So, is this from the 3rd generation prototype batch or the 4th generation batch? Also, the 2 iPod Touches that showed up on eBay appeared to be running some sort of SwitchBoard OS. Now, this isn’t the actual OS it will be shipped with, the SwitchBoard OS is probably for testing out the basics of the iPod Touch, however. The two iPod Touches also has a stick on them with “Apple Development Team” along with some type of identification number, which only solidifies that these are the real deal. I think this is the real deal at least, but we will only have to wait and see. PocketFullOfApps will post more info as it comes. Here’s some more photos:
