MOBA ‘Heavy Metal Machines’ Launches 2019 Kick-off Event
Hoplon, a southern Brazil-based development team of 80 people, has recently announced their latest in-game event for their hit MOBA Heavy Metal Machines. To celebrate the New Year starting today and running until January 28th, the 2019 Kick-Off event challenges players to finish 20 matches on ‘casual mode’. By completing this event players can unlock exclusive and time-sensitive cosmetic rewards like a brand-new avatar portrait frame with a ‘2019’ theme.

Available on Steam for free in in-app purchases, Heavy Metal Machines is a a post-apocalyptic car-combat MOBA where teams of 4 highly armed machines battle to the end. Optionally there is the Seasonal Metal Pass, which allows player to unlock seasonal content and thematic skins for all vehicles. Season Two – ‘Into The Abyss’ is currently underway, with Season 3 set to release in February 2019.
