Lots and lots of great App Store sales from a variety of developers and publishers. Kicking off the upcoming wave of endless discounts is Chair Entertainment‘s famous Infinity Blade franchise which first started back in December of 2010. Gamers can get the original Infinity Blade for only $0.99, while Infinity Blade II and Infinity Blade III are both $1.99 and $2.99, respectively. Currently there’s no word on how long this sale will run for, so we recommend you act fast before time runs out. New ‘Godfire: Rise of Prometheus’ Trailer Released!

Dating all the way back to August of last year, we covered an upcoming third person action adventure game based on Greek mythology by the name of Godfire: Rise of Prometheus from Vivid Games, the makers of Real Boxing. At the time details were somewhat readily available, however, fast forward to now and the developers have released a brand new trailer highlighting the combat portion of the game. Built using the Unreal Engine, the same platform utilized by the Infinity Blade franchise, it is safe to expect that the game will nothing but amazing and lots of fun. Referencing back to our previous article, players take on the role of the hero Prometheus as he starts a quest to recover the Godfire Spark and return it to the mortal world. Godfire: Rise of Prometheus will feature a number of dangerous foes and Titan bosses, which should be familiar to fans of Greek mythology. Additionally, players will have full control of Prometheus and his actions as he explores, defeating enemies and solving puzzles to achieve his goal.

App Store Celebrates 5th Anniversary, iOS Games and Apps On Sale!

Today is a big day folks — Apple’s App Store has finally reached its 5th anniversary after originally being opened on July 10, 2008. With that in mind, Apple has selected a number of top notch apps and games to go on sale for a limited time to celebrate the App Store’s 5th Anniversary. Also thrown into the mix are some other quality games and apps that have independently gone on sale to celebrate. As of now we have no word on when this sale might end, so pick up anything that interests you as quick as you can.
