Feel like one of the elite when you dine using ‘eleat’ [Review]
Dining out used to be a fun time, but restaurants have gotten so busy and service so haphazard that a lot of the enjoyment has been taken out of the experience. A revolutionary dining experience powered by the eleat app might help with that. Using eleat, diners can take a lot of the hassle out of the restaurant experience at places that support it. You can view the menu, check ingredients, and even place your order straight from the app. What’s even better is that you can use the same app at multiple restaurants.
When your order arrives, you can pay your server directly, or you can pay using eleat. It’s super flexible, allowing you to use your smartphone or tablet for as much or as little of the dining experience as you want. The team behind eleat says it’s dining on your terms, and that seems about right.
Currently, eleat is only available at a handful of restaurants in the Washington, DC Metro Area, but it’s expanding along the East Coast of the US. Eventually, it’ll go nationwide. If you’re in the area, stop by Policy, Lost Society, Bin1301, Chaplins, The Gryphon, Picollo, Sax, Piassa, Sol Mexican Grill Cantina, Catch 15 or AsiaDC and see what the future of restaurant dining could look like. The eleat app is a free download on the App Store.
