Astragon Partners with BELL for ‘Construction Simulator 2’
In an exciting turn of events, Astragon Entertainment and Bell have officially announced a partnership for Construction Simulator 2. The South African manufacturer will support the game’s vehicle fleet with an innovative and versatile new B45E articulated dump truck (ADT). According to the motto “Strong Reliable Machines. Strong Reliable Support.”, the BELL B45E is the ideal choice for heavy hauls and ambitious production schedules.
The truck offers a nominal payload of 41,000 kg and is equipped with a 523 hp at 1700 rev/min engine. Thanks to its enormous power and carrying capacity it can be used to realize the most demanding earth moving and land development tasks. The auto tailgate extends the bin capacity to 26m³ while resistant bin liners offer additional protection against abrasive loads.
Gary Bell, Group Chief Executive at Bell Equipment: “Bell Equipment is an ADT specialist in the construction, earthmoving and mining markets worldwide because of our ongoing product innovation and ability to offer the widest range of lowest cost per tonne ADTs, with payloads ranging from 18,000 kg to 55,000 kg. The opportunity to provide our brand new B45E for the gamer community as part of the Construction Simulator 2 fleet arose from a previous contact we had with weltenbauer. and it quickly became clear for us, that we would love to support this second edition of the famous mobile app with our product. I wish all players the same satisfaction, as our customers experience when driving the Bell E-Series ADTs in real life.”
Going off our initial coverage of Construction Simulator 2, the game is set to release later this year for iOS and Android. Other vehicle manufacturers that will contribute are Cat, Liebherr, and Palfinger. As always though, we’ll keep you updated as more information comes out.
