Set to release on September19th, Angry Birds Star Wars II has gotten an official gameplay trailer just recently showing off “The Pork Side”. The developers, Rovio Mobile, have stated that Angry Birds Star Wars II will be $0.99 to download on launch day, however, we’re not sure if this is a special promotion or not. The first Star Wars edition of Angry Birds was a huge success, to it’s safe to say this sequel be just as good if not better. Like always, we will keep you updated if there are any last minute announcements or news.

In addition to what we reported a couple days ago, Rovio has announced more info on their upcoming game, Angry Birds Star Wars II. The game will feature over 30 playable characters and the ability to choose your side, as well as a new toy called Telepods. It gets getter though — you can watch the trailer below which demos the new Telepods feature and shows a good amount of gameplay footage.

It’s nice to see Rovio change things up a bit and add the new Telepods feature to Angry Birds Star Wars II. Like always, we’ll keep you updated we get more information.
