‘Letters From Nowhere’ iPhone App Review
Letters From Nowhere is a hidden objects game by G5 entertainment. As you play you take the role of Audrey whose husband has disappeared. The focus of the gameplay is on finding a list of hidden objects and unveil the mystery behind Audrey’s missing husband. Each scene is paired with a list and your job is to find all the objects on that list. While it sounds quite simple it can be challenging, interesting and quite addictive. The scenes presented to you are very detailed and complex and some of the objects you’re supposed to find blend in really well and can be hard to spot. You can pinch to zoom into the scenes to have a closer look at certain areas in the hope of finding more hidden objects.
Some objects are more challenging to find than they first appear as you sometimes need to combine them with other objects to clear them. When you find an object you’re rewarded with points but when you tap on objects that aren’t on the list you risk losing some of those precious points so you can’t cheat by tapping on random locations in the hope of getting lucky and finding a hidden object. If you struggle to find one of the items on the list you can choose speed up the gameplay by having it highlighted. Having no time limits makes this is a great game to dip in and out of when you have a few spare minutes.
As you progress through the scenes you’ll come across a few mini games such as puzzles which add to the fun. If you played the non-stop you could probably complete the game in a few hours. There are a total of 11 episodes, 48 scenes, 11 mini-games and over 1000 objects to collect. If you’re into hidden object games then Letters From Nowhere is definitely worth checking out. The gameplay alone is fun but it’s also backed by an interesting story. You can download Letters From Nowhere for free via this link.
