Hasbro and nWay to Release ‘Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid’ for Console and More
It’s no doubt that the Power Rangers franchise has been hugely popular for nearly the last three decades for a variety of groups. A couple years ago a new movie was released in the franchise and just recently Hasbro has partnered with nWay to announce Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. We’re told that the game will be available for $19.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch starting April 2019. After that a PC version will release sometime later this year.
As of right now gamers can pre-order the game prior to release and get an exclusive bonus of the Green Ranger V2 character skin and a digital art book. What seems to be common with most console games these days is that there will be a special “Digital Collector’s Edition” for $39.99. It will contain the full game, Season One Pass that includes three characters, and exclusive Lord Drakkon V2 and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pink Ranger character skins.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is an easy to learn fighting game with a modern twisty on the Power Rangers franchise. The game pits new and classic Rangers and villains against each other in team battles. Luckily there’s a “streamlined combat system” with supposedly simplified controls to boot. In addition there will be cross-platform multiplayer, similar to what Fortnite has done.
Seen as for the release is still few months out we’ve been told that more info will be made available in the coming weeks. Again if you’d like to pre-order the game you can do so on the official website.
