Mad Catz Announces New Gaming Keyboards
To compliment Mad Catz‘s recently released desk/mouse pads, they’ve launched a brand new line of S.T.R.I.K.E. professional gaming keyboards. Expected to start shipping this Spring, the S.T.R.I.K.E. gaming keyboards come in two different configurations depending on your needs and budget.
Starting off, the S.T.R.I.K.E. 4+ keyboard sports Cherry mechanical switches and is tested to withstand at least 50 million key presses. Each key features anti-ghosting as well, which is helpful when combined with the F.L.U.X. software to change the RGB lighting. Like most other mainstream keyboards from Corsair and Razer, the S.T.R.I.K.E. 4+ features 16.8 million colors that can be fully customized by included software.
The other option for gamers out there is what I am assuming to be a cheaper option, the S.T.R.I.K.E. 2+ keyboard. It features a toughened aluminum faceplate, double-shot injection plastic, and a custom designed membrane. For those that don’t want the loud clicking-clacking noise of a mechanical keyboard, this would be a suitable option.
Right now there’s no word on pricing and what retailers will be selling these keyboards, so it would be best to occasionally check the Mad Catz website.
