Skateboard Icon Nyjah Huston Releases First Mobile Game
Hugo Games, founded back in 2011, has recently announced that their latest game Nyjah Huston #Skatelife is now available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those in the skateboard scene may have heard of Nyjah Huston, who was the overall champion at the Street League Skateboarding competition series in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2017.
Just as Tony Hawk who has numerous games published under his name in the last couple decades, it only seems to make sense that the current popular skateboard gets one as well. So, Huge Games teamed up with Huston to publish the game Nyjah Huston #Skatelife.
The game allows players to team up with the world-famous skateboarder in his first official mobile game and steer him through challenging environments in Venice Beach, California. Players can grind along precarious rails, grab the highest air before sticking gravity-defying signature tricks, and earn kudos to customize their experience by beating skateboard challenges.
As I eluded to earlier, Huston is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential skaterboarders. The 23-year-old California native has won seven X-Games gold medals and has repeatedly been cited as the highest-paid professional skaterboarder in the world.
Nyjah Huston #Skatelife is available on the App Store by clicking here, however, there are in-app purchases.
