Netmarble’s Upcoming MMO ‘Iron Throne’ Landing May 16th
Just like I covered late last month, Netmarble has announced that their upcoming MMO strategy game, Iron Throne, is set to launch this week on May 16th. Developed by 4Plat and published by Netmarble, Iron Throne is a “next generation MMO strategy game” as described by the duo.
According to the email I received, the game offers a new strategy experience by combining classic war strategy gameplay and RPG quests. There’s even battle-focused modes like Battle Royale (think Fortnite) as well as Team Death Match.
The goal in Iron Throne is to become the king. To achieve this players must win the Capital War, which will require strong alliances and active participation in various battles utilizing diverse strategies. All of this takes place with high-quality 3D graphics and exception audio quality. Drawing aspects from RPGs, players can expect heroes with a crafting system to upgrade and improve items.
Leading up to the game’s launch, pre-registration is open and players who sign-up will be rewarded with 1,000 gold, Dimensional Conqueror Helm and Dimensional Conqueror Great Sword. Based on our best guess, Iron Throne will probably be free to play with in-app purchases.
