Major PvP Update Comes to ‘Plants vs. Zombies 2’
Plants vs. Zombies 2, one of the best known hit tower defense games on the market, has recently received a highly anticipated update amongst players. Marking a first-ever in the Plants vs Zombies game lineup, there is a brand new player-versus-player (PvP) gameplay mode called “Battlez”.
Thanks to this new gameplay mode, players can compete against others in fast-paced asynchronous matches where they must wipe out waves of zombies in order to earn the most points and beat their opponent’s score. Points are determined by where on the board zombies are destroyed, with more points awarded to zombies eliminated farthest from the house. There’s even weekly tournaments and leaderboards for bragging rights.
Here’s the full list of what’s new in the latest update:
- Compete against other players to climb the leaderboard
- Battle relentless waves of zombies to get high scores
- Earn coins, piñatas, gauntlets, and other astounding league rewards
- Put your leveled-up Power Plants and zombie-bashing skills to the ultimate test
- Play all-new Daily Activities in the Travel Log
