MSI Releases New “Optix MPG” Curved Gaming Monitors
As part of their long term partnership, MSI and SteelSeries have announced the new Optix MPG series of curved gaming monitors are now supported by SteelSeries Engine. Featuring five RGB spots on the front of the monitor, gamers can program lighting effects in SteelSeries Engine to notify them of in-game timers, stats, and even Discord notifications.
The new Optix MPG series will consist of two 27-inch monitors, the Optix MPG27C and Optix MPG27CQ. Both monitors sport a VA panel with an impressive 1800R curve. Even better yet each model has a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, giving smooth and quick gameplay. Also worth noting is that the MPG27CQ has a 1440p WQHD screen, while the MPG27C has a 1080p screen.
With a curvature rate of 1800R, it offers the ideal experience for a wide range of applications from general computing to gaming. In addition with a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees and anti-flicker technology, these monitors offer most of what you’d expect for a high-end setup. For a limited time only a special promotion bundle with the with SteelSeries QcK Prism mousepad can be ordered.
From what I was told the bundle will be available from March 8th to April 8th or until supplies last. To redeem the promotion for free mousepad you’ll need to register over at MSI’s official website and instructions can be seen here.
