Team-Based Action Game ‘Hero Hunters’ Gets a Big Update
Hothead Games‘ popular team-based shooter game akin to Overwatch, Hero Hunters, has just gotten its first big update bringing lots of new content for players to enjoy. Thanks to this update Hero Hunters has gotten two new heroes that each have their own unique weapons and abilities. The two new heroes — “YanLung – Siege Breaker” and “Scum – Assault Fumigator” — both serve different purposes and add a new strategic element to the game.
YanLung is a assault hero with shield breaking abilities, primarily used to combat enemies on the frontlines. On the other hand, Scum has powerful area attacks that deal massive damage to enemies that are in the vicinity. In addition to new heroes there is a new district to explore, Little Tokyo.
We’re told that more heroes, maps, and events will be added in the coming months. No specific details were provided, but the sentiment that the developers will continue to improve the game is always reassuring. For those new to Hero Hunters, players are thrown into 50 years into the future after a violent war broke out. Players must choose between 40 heroes and lead a team to defeat the warlord General Kurtz and his army.
Hero Hunters is available on the App Store for free by clicking here, however, there are in-app purchases.
