‘Idle Miner Tycoon’ Attains 10 Million Downloads
Idle Miner Tycoon, made by group of five German students last year in eight weeks, has just achieved something pretty awesome. In a time span of little over a year, the game has attained more than 10 million downloads. Sure there’s bigger games out there and with more downloads, however, 10 million is definitely a respectable number all things considered.
A point that could contribute to the Idle Miner Tycoon’s success is the fact that it received new updates and expansions on a regular basis, further driving players to the game. Word has it that the game will continue to get future updates and content, which is nice reassurance from the developers. Considering the game is largely driven by player and community feedback, this is definitely important.
“We put a lot of focus on including our users in the continual improvement of Idle Miner Tycoon right from the start,” the CEOs and co-founders of Fluffy Fairy Games, Daniel Stammler and Janosch Sadowski, emphasize.
For those new to Idle Miner Tycoon, it is a management game where players take on the role of a mining entrepreneur digging up precious resources at various sites. Throughout the game players must make important decisions when it comes to upgrading mines, logistics and staff to get the best profit possible. Those interested can get the game on the App Store for free by clicking here, however, there are in-app purchases.
