Hunted Cow Releases Massive Update for ‘Operation: New Earth’
Scottish game developers Hunted Cow Studios have recently announced a massive update to their sci-fi strategy MMO, Operation: New Earth. Bringing a year’s worth of new content and features, the update is available for both PC and mobile versions of the game. Thanks to the help of Tilting Point’s new Game Alliance fund, the developers have been able to expand their game with more content.
As one would expect, the full change log of the latest update is pretty big. Alliances can now create Non-Aggression Pacts with each other, which means their bases, territory and dropships will appear yellow to indict the pact. Another change includes deployments on the map will now have indicators that show if they belong to you or another Alliance member.
Also worth mentioning is a new structure dubbed the “Bunker” has now been added to the game. The Bunker can be built upon reaching Headquarters level 5 and allows players to hide troops from enemy attacks. Other things to look out for are:
- Medical Bay now shows a timer in the city view when troops are being healed.
- Rallies can now be instantly deployed at level 8 Situation Room, down from level 22.
- High-level Situation Rooms will now increase the Rally speed.
- Alliance Veterans can now also create Rallies.
Bug fixes haven’t been forgotten about either. In total there’s over 20 bug fixes in the update, addressing a lot of issues and concerns raised by the players. If you’re interested in seeing the full list, I highly recommend this forum post.
All in all, the update is now available and definitely worth taking a look at considering the sheer size of it. Operation: New Earth is available on the App Store for free by clicking here, however, there are in-app purchases.
