After keeping tabs for a couple months now, astragon Entertainment has finally announced release of Construction Simulator 2, the latest installment in the Construction Simulator franchise. Construction Simulator 2 takes the player to the United States of America as the owner of a small construction company in the fictional state of Westside Plains.
Throughout the game, are able to become the biggest real estate tycoon in the entire region. To achieve this goal, there are 36 licensed vehicles and construction machines by well-known makers such as Caterpillar, Bell Equipment, STILL, and a few more.
Apart from challenging building contracts and missions, players can excavate building pits, control gigantic cranes and pour concrete. For the first time in Construction Simulator history, there’s also the option of accomplishing road construction tasks.
Other than big tasks and jobs, there’s smaller opportunities like gardening jobs, constructing residential buildings, apartment blocks and industrial warehouses. There’s also the ability to reconstruct a railway bridge and take on special missions almost like “side quests” in an RPG.
The main highlights of the game’s vehicle repository includes machines like the bulldozer D8T, the backhoe loader 430F2 and the dump truck 745C by Caterpillar. When it comes to Palfinger, their PK 27002 SH loading crane made it into the cut, with Liebherr’s LTM 1300 mobile crane making it in as well. While this is a small look at the line up, we suggest you download the game to see all the machines available.
Currently Construction Simulator 2 is available to download on the App Store for $4.99 by clicking here.
