Kongregate, a subsidiary of GameStop, has teamed up with indie developer Divine Games to release the fan-favorite flash game Realm Grinder for iOS. Originally launched as a flash game on Kongregate in May of 2015, Realm Grinder quickly became a hit with more than 1 million plays in two weeks.
Throughout the course of a year Kongregate has been working closely with Divine Games to introduce a streamlined UI and artistic direction to the flash game. That being said, the game’s huge success on flash and RPG aspect also made it a clear choice to port it to mobile devices.
In Realm Grinder players must build their empire by choosing between Good and Evil. Each option unlocks unique buildings, upgrades and achievements based on becoming a benevolent ruler or a cruel tyrant. Further adding depth and strategy are the many alliances you can choose as each faction offers its own distinct play style. Realm Grinder is available on the App Store for free by clicking here, however, there are in-app purchases. Go check it out.
