Asmodee Digital and Playsoft Announce ‘Mysterium: The Board Game’ for iOS
Asmodee Digital and Playsoft have officially announced the release of Mysterium for iOS, Android and PC. Having won numerous awards like the Golden Geek and As d’Or 2016 Game of the Year, the game been captivating players since its tabletop launch with more than 300,000 units sold worldwide.
Created by Oleksandr Nevskiy and Oleg Sidorenko, Mysterium has become a pretty popular board game all across the world. Thanks to the collaboration between Asmodee and Playsoft, the mystery of the Warwick Mansion ghost comes to life on iOS, Android and PC.
Mysterium is a cooperative deduction game that challenges players to solve a crime that was committed on the grounds of Warwick manor. One player takes on the role of a restless ghost who is tasked with revealing the guilty character to a team of psychics. The other players make up this team of psychics, receiving visions and interpreting them to the best of their abilities in order to narrow down the list of suspects.
Mysterium allows players from all over the world to investigate together in multiplayer mode and cooperate through an in-game chat that enables fellow players to point out visual clues on a card. Players can also share their visions with other psychics and approve or reject their choices with clairvoyance tokens. In Mysterium, up to 7 players can join together for fun and engaging games.
A entirely separate story mode also offers players the possibility to discover the culprit, the murder location, and the weapon through a several hours-long investigation filled with exciting twists and turns. Currently Mysterium is available on the App Store for $6.99 by clicking here.
