Fingersoft Announces ‘Hill Climb Racing 2’ for iOS
Fingersoft, a Finland-based publisher and studio, has announced that the physics-based racing game Hill Climb Racing 2 is set to release sometime later next month on iOS devices. As a full sequel to the original Hill Climb Racing, the newest game takes the series to new places with the introduction of asynchronous online multiplayer. Players can challenge friends to beat their fastest times across 30 unique stages and see how they match up on the leaderboards.
Hill Climb Racing 2 will also include the original endless adventure mode from the first Hill Climb Racing along with upgradeable characters and vehicles. We’ve also been told that the new game will get more content for free in subsequent updates, which would be pretty nice.
“The ability to play with friends and customize character and vehicle looks were by far the most requested features by our fans, and we’re incredibly excited to make those dreams a reality in Hill Climb Racing 2,” said Fingersoft CEO Teemu Närhi.
In the last bit of details given to us, we’re told that Hill Climb Racing 2 will be downloadable for free and will include in-app purchases. We’ll be sure to keep you posted as we approach the release date of the game.
