AOC Announces Brand New ‘AGON’ Premium Gaming Monitor Line
AOC, best known for their displays and computer monitors, have officially announced the U.S. availability of their new premium line of gaming monitors, the AGON series. The first one that’ll be available within the U.S. is the AG271QX, a QHD gaming monitor sporting a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.
With the AOC AGON AG271QX, gamers can enjoy clear and detailed graphics thanks to its high-speed TN panel at a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The AG271QX also features Adaptive-Sync support to reduce tearing and minimize input lag. Currently the gaming monitor is priced at $599 and can be bought at Amazon, Best Buy, and NewEgg.
We’ve been told that the NVIDIA G-SYNC version, the AGON AG271QG, will also have a 27-inch IPS display with 165Hz refresh rates. The IPS display with QHD resolution will deliver excellent clarity and extra-wide viewing angles, as one would expect from an IPS. Effrontery though, this monitor won’t be available until October for $799.
