WG Labs, a subsidiary of Wargaming, is set to publish their newest game Hybrid Wars later this month on September 29th. Inviting you to rediscover ’90s nostalgia for classic top-down shooters, Hybrid Wars offers refreshing twists like large world maps and changing mechs on the fly. The game sports 8 locations to explore, 3 different mercenaries, multiple game modes, and plenty more for gamers to experience.
Available in Standard and Deluxe Editions, players can choose from three original characters: Alex Carter (Standard Edition), Ivan (both Editions) and Jason Wood (Deluxe Edition only). Each of Hybrid Wars’ heroes offers you countless ways to capture bases, utilize dozens of upgrades, and use eclectic weapons in a flash, to swing the battle in your favor.
In multiplayer co-op, up to four players can play together on any map while a single-player campaign will let you play by yourself. We’re told that Hybrid Wars priced at $17.99 and $19.99 for the Standard and Deluxe Editions, respectively. Extra content in the Deluxe Edition will include the original Hybrid Wars OST and a detailed art book that includes concept art and high detail artwork from the game.
Hybrid Wars will be available on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux through Steam and GoG.
