Telestream, developers of various live streaming applications and video tools, have announced that their gamecasting software Gameshow is now available for just $29. For those new to the software, Gameshow allows gamers to create professional streams with graphic templates, dynamic editing, live switching, green screen technology, and built-in interactive widgets. Alongside the new update, Gameshow version 3.0 brings powerful production and editing tools designed to give game broadcasters more creativity for producing streams.
Other changes also include improved CPU usage, which can be important depending on other applications and games running in the background. A built-in replay function has also been added, just in case if something unexpected happens and you want to see it again.
While this all sounds great, there’s just one caveat to the price drop: a new licensing system. Switching from a subscription-based model, Gameshow now runs $29 and includes 12 months of updates. If you want to get more updates after 12 months you’ll need to repurchase the program, however, not renewing the service means you get to keep Gameshow just how it is.
Those who just want to try Gameshow before purchasing it, there’s now a free version that’s limited 720p at 30 FPS and includes a watermark on the stream as well. To learn more about Gameshow and see some demo videos, check out the official website for all the information.
