Now Announcing Full HTTPS/SSL Support, Site Wide!
For those that may not know, HTTPS — built on SSL, also known as Secure Sockets Layer — is very important when it comes to securing the information you send or receive while using the internet. Whether it’s online shopping through Amazon, logging into your online bank account, or simply just browsing the internet, HTTPS is something that can be often used without even knowing you’re using it. Without getting into too much detail, implanting HTTPS/SSL allows all traffic to and from a website to be encrypted and hidden from prying eyes.
After a some trial and error, PocketFullOfApps has successfully implemented HTTPS site-wide and is current rated at an A+ when it comes to encryption and implementation strength by SSL Labs. Another small tidbit to note is that any and all regular HTTP links will now redirect, by default, to the HTTPS version of the website.
