Keeping tabs with No Starch Press, they have released a brand new book on the super popular Arduino microcontroller. Dubbed the Arduino Project Handbook, it’s a collection of 25 step-by-step projects anyone can build with the Arduino. The book features clear instructions, full-color images, simple circuit diagrams, and all the code needed to make it these projects happen. The author of Arduino Project Handbook, Mark Geddes, has been a lifelong gadget enthusiast and originally wrote this book to teach his kid the joys of electronics and microcontrollers. After taking look through a sample of the book, it looks fairly easy to understand and straight forward, so that’s a huge plus. Projects inside the book include:
- A Simon-style arcade memory game.
- A fortune-telling 8-ball simulator.
- A laser trip wire alarm.
- An electromagnetic card entry system.
- A rainbow light display and disco strobe lights.
- A music maker.
Priced at $24.95 for a print copy and $19.95 for the eBook edition, the Arduino Project Handbook comes in under 300 pages and can be seen here.
