Keeping up to date with Ubisoft, they have recently announced that the first mobile action-RPG for the Assassins Creed franchise is set to release later this month. Dubbed Assassin’s Creed Identity, the game takes place place during a fan-favorite time period, the Italian Renaissance, and will release on the App Store come February 25th. Assassin’s Creed Identity challenges players to solve The Mystery of The Crows through a combination of story missions and quests.
Throughout the game, players create and customize their own Assassins and take them through various adventures in iconic settings from the Italian Renaissance such as Santa Croce area in Firenze or the Colosseum area in Roma. Depending upon your play style, there are four difference classes that can be chose from: Berserker, Shadow Blade, Trickster and Thief.
From what we’re told there will be a few different control scheme options — tap-to-move, dual virtual stick controls, and gamepad functionality — which is definitely nice to see. Last but certainly not least, Assassin’s Creed Identity will be priced at $4.99 upon release and requires iOS 7 or later as well as an iPad 3/iPhone 5 or newer.
