Hamburg-based Daedalic Entertainment has just released another one of their award-winning adventure titles, The Whispered World, exclusively for the iPad. For the first two weeks the game is available for $7.99, while it’ll increase to $9.99 thereafter. In The Whispered World, players take on the role of young clown Sadwick who leaves his circus to experience wild adventures.

The Whispered World is the story of Sadwick the clown and his family, who travel the world with their circus. Unfortunately though there’s nothing funny about that for him — he’s haunted by nightmares, foretelling him his world will be shattered. Together with his pet Spot, a huge joyful caterpillar with amazing abilities, he goes on a great adventure. In the course of his travels, Sadwick meets a lot of amazing characters and gets into incredible situations. Seen as how the game finally made its way to the iPad, Daedalic Entertainment completely revised the game and its control mechanisms to better suit the large touch screen as well.
