Find The Perfect Wine for Your Cellar with ‘Wineosphere’
If you’re in Australia, you might find yourself wondering what the perfect choice is for your next wine purchase. Should you look for something from Australia’s fine vineyards, or would a good Italian or French wine be a better choice? Thanks to Wineosphere, you can read the top reviews of the best wines, and even find great deals, all from your iPhone.
Expertly written reviews
Designed and developed in Australia, the app has a database of more than 25000 fully independent reviews, along with up-to-the-minute additions available constantly for instant download. You can access them through a predictive search or, if you’re at your local wine shop and scan the barcode, almost magically right there in the store.
Socially conscious wine-shopping
Wineosphere maintains its own social network, while also integrating with Facebook for an extended reach in sharing your wines. You can capture and share the best moments with wineograms, connect a wine and place together to share to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and even organise a case buy of wine or a social gathering. You can also post to the Wineosphere community and find like-minded wine-lovers as they post their own wineograms, reviews, and experiences.
Track your wine celler
Using the “My Wine” tab within Wineosphere, you can keep a personal collection of your favorite bookmarks and bottles, while maintaining your own cellar of reviewed wines and wines you own. Top lists provide you with a premium collection of top 10 bargains, annual top 20 lists, and other expert picks.
Shop for wine
Finally, through “The Shops” tab, you can choose an online supplier and instantly see which of the top-rated wines they are carrying, or find special offers and catalogue guides. You can even check prices to find the best deal on your favorite wine.
Wineosphere is designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and is available for free on the Australian App Store. All of the premium content is included for free until Sept. 1, 2015. After that, features like points, tasting notes, and some premium reports will require subscription through in-app purchase.
