‘Deponia’ Coming to iPad in August from Daedalic Entertainment
The Hamburg-based studio Daedalic Entertainment is set to release their popular point-and-click adventure game Deponia exclusively for iPad. From what we were told, the adventures of the two main characters — Rufus and Goal — will be available on the App Store sometime in August for $9.99.
In the game, players take on the role of Rufus who makes his home on the trash world of Deponia. Rufus has long dreamed of escaping the trash and starting a new life in the city of Elysium. Rufus sees his chance when a character by the name of Goal falls into a nearby pile of junk. So, he starts off on an journey to take Goal back to her home world.
That begins a fast-paced chase and comedy of errors, because Goal’s fiance is also looking for her. The game also features hand-drawn graphics and comic-style animation. Last but certainly not least, Deponia will be available on iPad sometime in mid-August for a price of $9.99. As of now this is all the information we have available, however, we’ll be sure to keep you updated as time goes on.
