Introduced in iOS 8, the Health app is the hub for all of your health-related data. Whether it be distance traveled, heart rate or sleeping records, developers can plug into the HealthApp with HealthKit. In iOS 9, Apple introduced a few new categories to the table, but one thing they forgot to mention is the app’s new landscape mode.
In the upcoming OS, turning the Health app into landscape gives you an overview of all of your recorded health data. Currently, it’s limited to data you have shown on your dashboard. Tapping on the edit button on the top right corner, you’ll be able to show or hide certain types of data to get a more simple or complex data chart.
As it stands right now, the new landscape view has no y-axis measurement. The only real information you have is on the x-axis, which can adjusted by day, week, month or year.
