Beats 1, Apple’s 24/7 internet radio station hosted by celebrity DJs, is now appearing on iOS 8.4 and iOS 9 betas which are currently restricted to developers. It seems like the Beats 1 interface is a bit unfinished (hence appearing in the betas) because the station works in spurts and as of now, the radio station loops the ‘coming soon’ track. Besides the Beats 1 radio station, all of the typical iTunes Radio stations are still available to stream.
Beats 1 will launch in 100 countries alongside Apple Music on June 30th. Apple Music will cost $9.99 per month, after a free three-month trial or $14.99 a month for family accounts. The service will be available for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, Mac, and PC on June 30. The rollout will continue to Apple TV and Android this fall.
