On Thursday, TIME added Tim Cook to their annual “100 Most Influential People” list. Apple CEO joins other leaders, pioneers, and cultural icons such as rap artist Kanye West, Pope Francis, and Xiaomi founder Lei Jun. John Lewis, civil rights leader and Georgia Congressman, calls Cook a “courageous innovator” in his piece on TIME praising his work he’s done for Apple, and his strong commitment on fighting for equality and human rights.
It’s worth noting that he’s not the only Apple executive that made the list. Apple’s design chief Jony Ive also made TIME’s ‘100 Most Influential People’ list.
