ChangeTip, the popular social media Bitcoin tipping platform, has announced that they’ve successfully integrated Bitcoin tipping for Twitch.tv. Thanks to this accomplishment, both gaming fans and professional gamers can now tip their favorite streamer in right in the chat box. Additionally, ChangeTip is also giving certain popular streaming gamers each a cut of $10,000 USD to tip their followers to demonstrate Bitcoin’s potential when it comes to tipping on their platform.

Those who are excited must take note though, the Twitch integration was written by an independent developer, not a member of ChangeTip and simply used ChangeTip’s new API. Streamers also must enable this service through their stream, so it does not come by default across all Twitch streams at the moment. Hopefully that will change later down the road, but we’ll see.
