Wearing the Apple Watch in the Shower Might Be Possible
On Wednesday, iGen.fr reports that Tim Cook said during a conversation with an employee at an Apple Store in Berlin that he wears his Apple Watch everywhere, “even in the shower.” While the CEO’s comment indicates that the water resistance in the wrist-worn device has changed since it was first announced, AppleInsider warns the possibly that “Cook was simply misheard while on his trip to Berlin.”
Apple has been fairly quiet about what the watch can or can’t do, and water resistance seems to be one of them. The company is planning to hold a media event before it’s mid-April launch. The media event should unveil details such as water resistance, pricing, etc. With a launch date set for April, the Apple Watch will start at $349. Our biggest concern is the pricing of the Apple Watch Edition.

The Luma Labs co-founder Greg Koenig estimates that the Apple Watch Edition will require $850 to process the 18 karat gold.
