The image above showcases what is supposed to be the new Pebble smartwatch, found on the companies server, ahead of the companies official unveiling on Tuesday. Originally found by 9to5Mac, the next generation Pebble will sport a color display, larger bezels, alongside the standard pebble buttons originating back to the first generation Pebble smartwatch.
“You’ll actually interact with the watch in a completely different way than you do today,” Eric Migicovsky, the CEO of Pebble, said. He wouldn’t specify anything else other than noting that the App Store model is the right way to approach smartwatch customization.
“We’ve found a new framework to use as an interaction model on the watch,” he added. “It doesn’t look like what we have today, and it doesn’t look like what’s on your smartphone.”
If these leaks are true, what do you think of the new Pebble?
