Tapbots, the company behind the popular iOS and Mac twitter client Tweetbot, announced on Wednesday the app is almost completely updated for Apple’s latest desktop OS, OS X Yosemite. Along with a teaser image posted to Twitter, which showed off a fresh user interface, the company says the update will be free for all existing users.
Tapbots didn’t note a specific release date for the app, simply saying: the update “has been more work than anticipated, but it is coming.”
Priced at $19, Tweetbot is the go to third party Twitter client on the Apple platform. The official first party Twitter application has its pros and cons while Tweetbot‘s mission is to be the go-to application, the “power user” app for Twitter.
