evasi0n7 Updated with Support for iOS 7.0.6
Just recently Apple released a very important security update to iOS 7 that claimed to fix SSL verification issues that potentially allowed someone to do a man-in-the-middle attack and capture or modify data in sessions over SSL/TLS. As with every update that Apple releases to their iOS platform, it’s important to not update right away as it may fix or patch any exploits that are needed to perform a jailbreak. So after waiting for official confirmation, the all clear has been given to jailbreak iOS 7.0.6. With that in mind, evasi0n7 has also been updated to support iOS 7.0.6 for those wanting to update then re-jailbreak their devices. As with any security fix to iOS, it’s very critical to make sure you update so no potential threats can get through. While it may be a pain to back everything up, update, jailbreak and reinstall every tweak you had, there’s a helpful guide over at Reddit to follow that will make everything easier. So if you decide to update, be sure to head over to the evasi0n7 website for the latest version.
