MOBA-RPG ‘Sigils: Battle for Raios’ Coming to iPad from Gameforge and Sproing
Gameforge and Sproing are working together on a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) for the iPad and other tables under the title of Sigils: Battle for Raios. The free-to-play title combines MOBA and RPG elements providing well rounded PvE and PvP matches. Additionally, Sigils: Battle for Raios features atmospheric art style, various playable Champions and arenas, a user friendly matchmaking system as well as detailed statistics and leaderboards. With the intelligent matchmaking system, a suitable opponent to face off against will always be available. It’s also possible for players to team up with others to face other Champions or against computer controlled AI monsters in real time. While no screenshots have been released, we were able to get our hands on some artwork of the Champions that you can see below. All Champions have their own unique abilities that they combine for both attack and defense. For every gameplay style there’s a matching Champion, ranging from huge tanks, to damage dealers and support classes. At first, twenty different combatants will be available to chose from while more Champions will be added in future updates. Sigils: Battle for Raios takes place in a fantasy world and comes with a fairly lengthy background story which you learn about as you play the game. The RPG aspect is shown when Champions gain experience and level-up after successfully playing the game and winning battles. In addition, players that defeat opponents can loot gold or valuable equipment which they can improve their Champion with and also customize them. To top it all off, there’s also player statistics and leaderboards to compare how you rank against others.
As of now, there’s no official release date or even an estimation for that matter. So with that said, we’ll keep our eye on Sigils: Battle for Raios and if there’s any updates we’ll let you know.
