Apple Fixes Jailbreak Exploit Used in iOS 7.1 Beta 4
Well sadly all good things must come to an end — with iOS 7.1 beta 4 just released a couple days ago, Apple has now patched the exploit used to jailbreak iOS devices. One of the biggest names in the jailbreak community, iH8sn0w, went through the fourth beta and found that the kernel exploit has been patched but the code signing bug still intact. So what does that mean for us users? Most likely we will not see an iOS 7.1 jailbreak and for those who are jailbroken on iOS 7 or iOS 6 should not update to iOS 7.1. If you’ve been on the fence about jailbreaking, you can follow our how to guide for iOS 6 devices or download evasi0n for iOS here. Until the official version of iOS 7.1 has landed, it’s hard to tell if or when a new jailbreak will be available. So with that in mind, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
