‘Sidekick Cycle’ Goes Free to Play on iOS!
Global Gaming Initiative‘s Sidekick Cycle is a one-touch downhill biking game that was released in late September on iOS and accepted well by gamers who “play to give”. Combined with all of their efforts, players quickly raised enough money to giveaway 10 bikes through the World Bicycle Relief. Now Global Gaming Initiative, continuing their mission to build games that connect digital-world customers to real-world causes, has made Sidekick Cycle free to download. The way the developers are raising money is from in-app purchases, where players can buy bikes, sidekicks, avatars and more.
Features:
- Barrel down more than 30 vertigo-inducing, tire-shredding tracks across the rugged, untamed terrain of North America and Africa, with new levels to come in future updates.
- Push yourself to the limit and pull off gravity-defying tricks and flips for bonus points and coins to spend on upgrades.
- Buckle up and hold on tight with Hondro and his Sidekicks — animal friends with ferocious powers to help you reach the finish line in one piece.
- Personalize your ride with a mountain of choices from a variety of rider gear and bikes.
- Leaderboards and achievements.
“I want Sidekick Cycle to make people aware of how bikes can make an enormous impact in a disadvantaged child’s life,” said Elizabeth Sarquis, CEO and Founder of GGI. “By making the game free, more people than ever will have a blast playing and I’m confident they will respond to our message about making a positive impact in the world with bikes.”
