Case Mate Snap Case Review!
Case Mate is one of the more popular case manufacturers in the market presently and with the release of iPhone 5 they too have jumped on the bandwagon to create some interesting and creative products. One of their most interesting products released till now is the Case Mate Snap Case.
The Case Mate Snap Case is an interesting product. From the front, it looks like an ordinary case made out of silicone. It’s actually the back where the beauty of the product lies in. The case has a metallic rubber stand that pops out when a button is pressed. This will let you use your phone in the landscape or portrait mode.
The outer part of the case is your basic silicone based material that is sturdy enough to protect your phone form the basic drops and bumps. The lip of the case is large enough to protect the screen from drops. The phone slips in easily into the case. The volume and lock buttons are covered by the case and need to be pressed upon to operate. You may have to apply some pressure to get to the buttons and make them work which makes it a wee bit uncomfortable. There are large enough cut outs for the headphone jack and the lightning port which is really convenient.
The true beauty of the case is in its kickstand that is a take on those snap on bracelets from the 90’s. The kickstand is a metallic rubber stand that snaps out at the press of a button and can be snapped back on easily. The case can be placed on the landscape or portrait mode. It stands out from the other kickstand cases because of its peculiar angle that the stand offers which makes it more comfortable. Another advantage is that the case unlike several others gives you good protection and at the same time does not add bulk or any extra weight to the phone.
The Snap Case is available in a variety of colors along with several other varieties of Case Mate iPhone 5 cases. The Snap case comes at a reasonable price tag of $35 and is set to release soon.
