‘Solitaire Pro’ from Finger Arts [Review]
This is part 1 of 3 games reviews that I am writing covering the Solitaire Games from Finger Arts. One of my favorite mobile games to play are card games. They are usually provide quick, fun games that I can play at almost any time. I still remember my mom teaching me to play Clock Solitaire as a kid. I have played a number of Solitaire games for Android and iOS and I think the group of Solitaire games from Finger Arts are some of the best ones.
Before I get into the specifics, one thing I really like about the game is the sound effects — the background applause and sounds, just seem to add something to the game. If you do not like them, you can easily turn them off.
After the sound effects, the layout of the game is fantastic. You can play in either portrait or landscape and not skip a beat. The menu layout does not take up a lot of real estate so it is easy on the eyes. I personally like playing the game in landscape. The game comes with 3 difficulty settings and you can save one game at a time.
If you are unfamiliar with Solitaire, there is a nice help section in the game. Briefly though, to win the game all cards must be upturned and moved to the Foundations to build for piles of same suit cards starting Ace to King. the game is lost when no more cards can be moved.
The game play fine, no locking up or glitches. The cards were easy to read and easy to move on the table. The game comes with an undo button and a hint button if you need it. For those that like statistics, the game gives you a break down for games played under the different difficulty settings. It is also connected to the Game Center. You can reset the stats if desired. Another option in the game that I took notice of was the right or left hand layout. Pretty neat.
Hopefully this gives you a flavor for the game. Now it comes in a free and paid (Pro) versions and overall is a solid, fun, and entertaining game. So if you enjoy card games, I recommend you give Solitaire Pro [Free version] from Finger Arts.
My next post will cover another one of Finger Arts game and some promo codes coming later today!
