The iTunes App Store is being renovated and it seems that the next big project is food and kitchen. Food lovers can now find all of their goodies in one place!
Apple has informed its database of developers that they would be branching out into a new food and drink category in its App Stores. There was no specific food and drink category earlier, as most of the info was listed under the Travel & Lifestyle categories. Apple has reportedly informed its developers that the new category is to include apps to help users manage recipes, help them with their cooking, grilling, baking and mixing cocktails.
Mentioned below are some of the highlights of the App Store collection that will help you in your journey to becoming a foodie.
- Foodspotting
This free application is dedicated to share photos and details about delicious food. It could be about finding them, rating them, or even sharing details about them. It is a great app that keeps track of your favorite food and you can read about reviews from experts and other foodies. The visuals and the social network integration to share, makes it look better than any standard menu image.
- Lunchbox
There are many ways to find reviews on restaurants but with Lunchbox, a free app, you can find them easily. Mixing tips from other app users with reviews from social media platforms; Lunchbox is a perfect mobile food critic.
