Pixel Doubled Games Still look Amazing on the new iPad
iPad 2+ pixel-doubled, left. New iPad + pixel-doubled using iPhone Retina graphics, right.
If you thought the new iPad’s Retina Display would make graphics look really terrible on apps that didn’t natively support the massive Retina Display for the iPad, you are wrong. As you can tell from the two images above, the new iPad has been designed to take the application’s iPhone Retina Display graphics when pixel-doubled if there are no native graphics for the new iPad found within the app. If that’s not convincing enough, view the gallery below for more images. Enjoy!
