‘1000 Heroz’ becomes Free to Play
RedLynx, a Ubisoft studio, have released a major update for their critically acclaimed iOS game, 1000 Heroz, adding compelling new features while making the game free to play as well.
Since its release, 1000 Heroz has been acclaimed for raising the bar on content packed into an iOS game, as it delivers one new hero, relic, and level to play every day — for a thousand days.
“With 1000 Heroz, we have been looking for new ways to bring the game to a wider audience,” said Tero Virtala, General Manager of RedLynx. “In the short time that the game has been free, hundreds of thousands of new players have joined, including a surprisingly large group of players from China.”
Players who have previously purchased the game in the App Store will automatically be upgraded to the premium version once they download the new update. New players can start playing 1000 Heroz right away, with free, exploratory access to the compelling ‘Daily Challenges’ portion of the game.
“Long-time players will be thrilled at the new replay feature, which will let them see exactly how top players are scoring their impressive times,” Ilvessuo said. “While new players will find it a great way to pick up tips and hints on how to play.”
“They will also be excited for the new 10-Day Rolling Leader Board, which keeps competition fresh even for players who have recently joined, as well as the all new Adventure Mode, which is a smoother way to play through the rich history of 1000 Heroz.”
